This lift station for the Rock River Reclamation District required a temporary support system to allow vertical excavation to a depth of 40 feet.  An 81-foot diameter steel sheet piling structure with 2 cast in place concrete walers was constructed to allow for the construction of the concrete pump station.  After construction, the retention structure was removed.
