Helm played a crucial role in Ball Corporation’s Line 3 and 4 expansion project in Findlay, OH, leveraging its expertise in process and utility piping to support the facility’s increased production capacity. With over 7,000 workhours dedicated to the project, Helm installed essential systems, including a new compressed air system, a five-chiller cooling water system, and multiple utilities for can-making equipment. The scope also encompassed a chemical feed system with extensive tubing installation, rooftop HVAC equipment, and a new wastewater treatment system.
The project’s complexity required precise coordination, given the extensive piping, tight installation tolerances, and integration of thousands of feet of stainless steel and tubing. Helm’s ability to manage large-scale utility and mechanical installations ensured that all work was completed efficiently and met the plant’s high-performance standards. Despite the project’s demanding schedule, Helm successfully delivered on-time, reinforcing its reputation for quality and reliability in industrial facility expansions.
