Helm was awarded and performed the Plumbing, HVAC, and Medical Gas scopes of work for the new 115,000 square foot Women’s and Children’s addition at Swedish American Medical Center. The project used Helm’s robust technology tools to assist all trades in meeting the demanding schedule. By utilizing scanning technology and HoloLens, Helm’s team was able to fabricate the Plumbing and HVAC piping in our shop to exact final connections in the field. This enabled all trades to collaborate digitally, detecting any clashes prior to installation in the field which enabled the schedule to be met. In addition to the new building, Helm also performed an upgrade to the existing central utility plant for the campus.
