Helm recently completed a 9-mile portion of I-88 from Illinois Route 78 to Sand Road which included full depth concrete patching along with polymer Hot Mix Asphalt binder and surface courses.  Officially designated an Interstate in the late 1980s, the roadway has undergone a number of improvements over the years.
