Helm’s Engineering Team was contracted to design all requirements needed for updated equipment installations for Honeywell at their Freeport facility. The team collaborated with the owner and surveyed a similar facility in the Honeywell family. Helm calculated all process cooling systems, designed cooling tower requirements, chilled water process cooling distribution systems, and all exhaust systems. Helm’s design team discovered during design the new processes generated potentially harmful byproducts so capture and treatment systems were designed to eliminate risk. Once past the design phase the team produced stamped installation drawings for owner approval.
