Helm was selected in as the construction services provider for the Growmark Terminal Retrofit in Amboy, Illinois.  The project included a refined fuel unloading and mixing terminal as well as sitework improvements.  The new mixing terminal supplies fuel to the area’s farms through the FS cooperative.  Both biodiesel and ethanol blends are created at the terminal from raw inputs delivered by tanker trucks and the finished products are loaded onto similar vehicles.  Helm’s engineers worked on the design with the engineer of record throughout the project and Helm self-performed work with eight different construction trades.
